Exploitation

The Aerial-Core project aims to develop technologies that can improve work safety and accuracy in detecting and repairing problems in electrical networks. These are some of the cases in which it has been implemented.

RESISTO project, financed by the European Union with the NextGenerationEU funds, leaded by e-distribución and tested in the Doñana National Park environment, aims to improve the resilience of the electricity distribution network to extreme weather events and help in the environmental management of the park, through the use of new innovative technologies.

The Fly4Future team designed a unique SW for autonomous flying close to high voltage poles. This new solution lowers costs, improves the quality of aerial data acquisition, enhances evaluation, as well as displaying real-time and precise data from the available sensors. Additionally, the drone system can be used ad hoc for unplanned inspections in the event of accidents.
