12/04/2021

The ERF (European Robotics Forum) 2021, the most influential meeting of the robotics community in Europe, will be held this year online from 13-15 April 2021.

Interview by Steve Doswell with Anibal Ollero at the ERF 2020.

This year the head of GRVC and Professor of the University of Seville Anibal Ollero will organize with Jacob Rodriguez (Endesa-Enel), Stephane Menoret (Thales Group) and Juha Röning (University of Oülu) the Workshop “Autonomy in Aerial Robotics for inspection and maintenance” that will present recent results and demonstrations of relevant projects H2020 projects: HYFLIERS, H2020 PILOTING Project and AERIAL-CORE

The motivation of the workshop is to embodied Artificial Intelligence as a relevant characteristic of aerial robots for inspection and maintenance.  In some applications the end-users prefer fully autonomous solutions, while in others the intervention of human pilots and other operators is preferred.
